The Village of Lake Orion is seeking applications for the position of Finance Director.  This position is responsible for preparation of monthly financial reports, payroll, wage reporting, audit oversight, employee benefits and accounts payable.  Qualified applicants will have at least three years of experience in accounting.  A Bachelor Degree in accounting or a similar field is preferred.  Relevant experience may be substituted.  Necessary skills include Microsoft programs, accounting software, Internet and web-reporting.  Approximate salary is $16-19 per hour.  Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2012.  Additional information is available on the MML website.
